Fundraising for Junior NZ Representatives

Marist Softball Club is supporting the parents and players fundraising for the 10 Junior New Zealand Softball Representatives who have been selected in the Junior White Sox and Junior Black Sox teams.

7 players will take part in tournaments in Australia, 1 in Hawaii and 2 Junior Black Sox players will travel to Michigan, USA to participate in the World Series. Total of levies from SNZ are in excess of $30K.

The players are Brooke and Milla Glassie, Pearl-Marli Waetford, Deja Wetere, Tatiana Rouru, Jared Fuamatu, Hayley Carter, Dylan Tonkin, Dan Chapman and Joseph Kohlhase.

The first fundraiser begins this Saturday at the Mad Butcher in Pt Chevalier. Dan and Joseph will be promoting their cause and hopefully selling lots of sausages  On 14 May, 28 May, 11 June and 25 June, all the players will be taking turns with the sausage sizzles. We are very grateful to the Mad Butcher, Pt Chevalier.

The next big fundraiser is a movie theme TRIVIAL PURSUIT night on Saturday, 21 May at St Mary’s Hall, Ellerslie. $15.00 per person or $150.00 per table.  Ticket enquiries to Te Aroha Clarke (tearoahclarke@vodafone.co.nz).
