Premier Women play in trying conditions

In the trying conditions of gale force winds at Starling Park, we had another tough game, against Howick. After letting them get ahead in the first inning, we could not work our way back into the game.  Unable to get runners into scoring positions, we took a 7-0 loss. However, the game’s tough conditions did not stop our pitcher, Bryony Large, from having a great game on the mound.  From our post-game analysis, we have identified areas to work on before next week’s double header against Bears and Magpies at home.
